It's been almost a week and I'm already longing for Jamaica. I've sought counselling for my longing and I'm ready to post my trip report. We had the time of our lives. RDMB was beautiful, magnificent, AWESOME a place to behold. This place was fit for KINGS and QUEENS and I wore my crown well. I've never slept on a cloud but the bed, pillows and comforter's made me feel like an angel. The main dining hall, grill and property restaurant were all good. Good is mild... Great is the word of choice. This was my 9th trip to Jamaica and I'm going again in August. Don't have the funds today but anybody on this board could sponsor me!
O.K. my friends booked at the Casa Blanca Beach Hotel. This was surely a step into another world. The rooms were so old, I'm almost sure our ancestors are still living there. The pool looked like a pond at best. You could literally get lost in that pool. The water was so dark and dirty it was awful.. The beds had a sinking soft spot in the middle and you felt as if you were being swallowed. They moved out the next DAY to Toby's. This place was nice as well. Great place to rest, relax and the restaurant on property had good hot food. If you stay at Toby's please pack a air freshner or candle. The room has an old ordor to it. The staff was really nice and we'll be staying there in August. Margritiville was great but the teenagers ruled. Upstairs they had a live band and we chilled there for most of our vacation. The Casino across the street had a band on Sunday night and that was a better crowd for ages 35 and older. Negril beaches are better.... PERIOD. I'm a Mo-Bay girl but the beaches in Negril are beautiful. This place is for getting to know yourself and a significant other. We bought lobster and had it served to us on the beach. We parasailed and rented wave runners. We were truly BLESSED to be there! The Groovy Grouper restaurant had great Red Snapper and the restaurant was right on the beach.
I hated to leave but I'll be back! I'm busy working but I'll take any sponsors with no strings attached......
