Hello,

Can anyone tell me if kids (i.e. 7 and 8 year olds) are allowed into the a la carte restaurants at the Starfish Trelawny? Also, what is the dress code for these restaurants?

We are getting married there in 2 weeks and I want to make sure my guests have appropriate clothing if we want to book an a la carte for wedding night dinner! Also, want to know if we are going to be stuck with the buffet for wedding night because we have children with us.

I have been wondering about the dress code and if 10yr old is allowed into the a la carte restaurants as well. Any information would be helpful.

I'm also curious - someone mentioned you can not wear sandals - is this true - as even my dressier shoes are sandals.

I hadn't noticed this before, but there is some information on their web site superclubs.com/brand_starfish/…dining.asp

It looks like Casablanca is the only one with a dress code and that children under 14 are not allowed. This sounds then like children are allowed at the other a la cartes and that there is no dress code at the others.

I'd still like to hear from someone who has been there recently in case anything has changed from what they say on the web site.

You must be 14 or older to get into Casablanca (which is nice) and you must have Dress clothes (ie; no sandals/flipflops, men closed toe shoes, along with taliored pants, dress shirts, no jeans, cutoff etc.... Thats just for casablanca.

We didnt eat at the other A la carte rest. BUffet, all you need is a shirt, and must be dry.

We ate at the Scotch Bonnet and had made a later time because we were going to the Luminous Lagoon, so I asked the lady what the dress code was and she said that you could come as you are - so we did. We did have clothes over our swimsuits and no one was wet because no one went in the water except my husband, but we were NOT dressed up by any means.

They have you sign something when you make reservations at the Casablanca that says you understand the dress code. I said "girls can wear sandals right" and she said "yes but they have to be nice." I was still worried about my daughters shoes because they were like tall flip flops, but with more straps - no back strap though. An older couple maybe 60 in front of us in the restaurant both had on tennis shoes which I believe it said not to wear. It looked like if men had on long pants - not jeans - and a collared shirt - golf shirts OK - it was fine.

They did not say that there was a dress code at the Japanese either. My son wore a T-shirt and jeans and he was fine.

No age limit except at Casablanca 14 and up is correct.
