My husband and our then 6 month old son went to BSB last April, and are going to Starfish Trelawny in 4 days. We really liked BSB, as long as you go with realistic expectations, you will have a good time. BSB is much smaller and more intimate than Beaches Negril. You can take the free shuttle down to the other resort, your kids are old enough to get a lot out of all the water slides and fun stuff at Beaches Negril. You will enjoy the quiet when you get back to BSB though! The beach is beautiful, the snorkeling is a lot of fun, and your kids could go, they don't keep you out too long. We rented a taxi for the day while we were there and went to the West End. It was fun to go sightseeing, I think we spent $60 for 4 hours or so...
