Thank you for your response. Did you reserve a smoke-free room ahead of time or did you request it when you arrived? Which room did you stay in and were you satisfied with it?

Travelpatty, we requested a non-smoking suite when we booked the trip. Our suite was G14, third story of G block. The view was incredible from the very large balcony. The view of the sunset was unobstructed as well. The suite is comprised of a masterbedroom with a king bed, two full bathrooms, a large sitting room, and of course the balcony. This suite was not as plush as the suites in "A" block but it was clean and more than sufficient. We didn't spend a great deal of time in the room, only to sleep, shower, and watch the sunset. There is so much to do there (all included), the food is so good, and the drinks so plentifull that you won't find yourself in the room all that much

Thank for your response; I am very glad I asked. When I booked I asked for a non-smoking and they told me there was no such thing. After thinking about it I didn't think this was right and that is why I asked you the question. I will contact them and again and request non-smoking.

Your suite had two bathrooms...you must have had the penthouse! At any rate, we can't wait for our trip. We have never been to Jamaica and have never stayed at an AI.
