I am a single mother and I will be travelling with 2 teenage boys ages 13 and 14 in July 2005 to Jamaica. Has anyone been to both of the Beaches? I would like to know which one is better or which one did you like better. I have heard the Sandy Bay is cheaper but Negril is better for teenagers...can anyone enlighten me a lil more? Also is it work staying at the cheaper resort and playing at the more expensive resort.

Oh, this will not be my first trip to Jamaica but will be my sons first trip.

I stayed Beaches Sandy Bay because it was cheaper and walked the beach or took a taxi to Beaches Negril. Beaches Negril is better for teenagers, but for the difference in price it is worth staying at Beaches Sandy Bay and walking to the other one. I hope this helped!
