 Questions About Couples Sans Souci

My wife and I are planning our first trip to CSS and I was wondering if anyone who has been there before could recommend a room location to request (we have purchased the oceanview with balcony suite). I have read that certain locations will require a lot of trips up and down stairs. We would prefer to have easy access to our room from the beach/pool area.

We also enjoy bringing a bottle of wine down to the beach or hottub at night. I notice that the mini bars only have beer. Is it possible to order a bottle of wine from the room service menu?

Thanks in advance!

If beach access is your main concern, you'll definately want block A or B. These two blocks are maybe 75 yards from the beach, less from the pool. You won't have to walk up stairs to the buffet restaurant either. The only downfall is that you'll have a bit of a hike to the spa/fitness complex and to the lobby/fine dining restaurant/balloon bar. We were there before Couples took over, so I don't know about their wine service now, but when we were there the wine was horrible...vinegar! I've found this to be the case at most all inclusives though, so now we just bring a few nice bottles with us.

While I can't tell you much about the service/amenities now that Couples has taken over, I can answer most any question you have about the resort in general.
