I just booked the Starfish Trelawny with air from Charlotte, NC, for 8 days 7 nights, 7/16-7/23, 2 adults and one 11 yr old child and the total was $3058.58, with Cheapcaribbean.com. That price also includes the insurance of 49.00 per person. The final price that is given to you on the website without having to book includes all the fees, and taxes. We used them last year to go to the Dominican Republic, and had no problems what so ever. I think you got a great deal!!!

I just booked from CheapCaribbean to Club Ambiance...I was wondering if they were any good or not...do you know if we have to pay any entrance of departure fees...or is that included in the price...also, I noticed that the exact same trip I booked is now 100 dollars less than what I paid...do they bring the price down like FunJet? I emailed the company, but they have not answered back yet...kinda makes me nervous on customer appreciation...and when I call...I'm held on the phone listening to music for so long...so I end up hanging up...

We traveled to Casa Del Mar, La Ramona DR last year and had no problem with them. Their prices do go up and down, and what they advised me about that is the price can change due to flight, and resort availability. Sometimes new flights are added which can bring the price down. I was going to book my trip to Starfish for 9 days 8 nights the third week in july but the price jumped too much. On 1/31 it was 3161.00, but 3295.00 on 2/1. Because of the price increase, and not being able to get the flight I wanted I cut it short 1 day. I called Cheapcaribbean this afternoon because I have not received an email comfirmation, and because we have some friends that are interested in going the same week as us, and after holding for quite a while finially got thru. I pushed 2, but could not get thru when I pushed 1 for new reservations. Was told by the girl that because of the new deals that are being offered as of today their phones are going crazy, just to continue to hold. Like I said we had no problems last time, hope it will be the same this time. I was sent and email confirmation immediatly last time but the girl told me today it could take 5 days. Two summers ago it took 2 weeks to get it from beachdestinations, but everything went great with the trip. I'm hoping for the best, and wish you the best also!!

I forgot to hit on the entrance fees, and exit fees. The only thing we had to pay last year,traveling with Cheapcaribbean, going to the Dominican Republic was for the card to get in which was 10.00us per person. Did not have to pay exit fees or taxes. When we went to Mexico with Beachdestinations we did not pay any fees. I really don't think there will be any extra charges because the final price states that it includes all fees, and taxes.

Never heard anything bad about cheapcaribbean.com We know some folks that have used them..no problems that we've heard.

We were recommended to them several years ago and have had nothing but great experiences. They are a smaller company, but very knowledgeable and friendly. We have always gotten great deals from them.

When pricing packages on line though, I have found that until you press that "booking" button often the prices dont include taxes.

I've seen some great prices for Jamaica lately! Its definitely a great pick!

The only thing I worry about with Cheapcaribbean.com is that they tend to overbook. I have heard of it happening several times with several hotels..including Club Ambiance..they for some reason don't have the correct tally when they give it to the hotel..then the hotel continues to book and oops..over booked. The hotel looks bad then.. Sometimes having to ship their customers off to another hotel for their first night there..which can be frustrating. I check their prices all the time..I just found 1 week at Club Ambiance for $879 or something..I wish I could go for a week!! I'm only able to go Thurs-Sun though. Good luck though..it will hopefully be ok for you!

I emailed the resort and asked if my booking went thru for CA...and I did recieve an email back saying that they do have us down from March 26-April 2...I will print that email and bring it with me when I check in...
