My husband and I have been through some really stressful situations with our business over the last couple of years. We now have a chance to get away at the end of June and really want to unwind. We are not able to make multiple trips to the different areas of Jamaica so want to find the spot with THE most relaxing atmosphere but also with entertainment. This may be a one and only trip for now so we want to make the most of our time. I am leaning towards either Negril or Ocho Rios but want to know the really NICEST and top notch place to stay for an all inclusive. Help, also I have never flown before so this is a biggie for me!

Hi Jill,

I think she probably means Memo's photos on the previous page.

Blessings and respect to you.

Yes, I did mean Memo's photos. Sorry about that. I do stay on the internet to long at night! And I have read so much info about Jamaica that I get confused sometimes.

Here's another question though. Would CSA beach (7mile) be calmer or would the Bloody bay area at Couple's Negril be calmer? Or does it really matter.

It doesn't really matter. Bloody Bay is a bit shallower.

As previously posted, you leave alot of unanswered questions. You first have to decide if an adults only resort is important. Are fancy, modern hotel rooms important. Would you enjoy room service? Are you a gym junkie? Are you a tennis player? Do you enjoy swimming in the surf? We've been going to Jamaica for sixteen years, lately twice a year. It definitely is a great destination. You'll have to scroll around and read faq on the various resort offerings to get a better feel for what's available.

Janeyb,

I believe on page 3 I mentioned that we wanted a really nice beach, but some entertainment as well. Also, all inclusive, and that we were leaning toward deciding on either Couples Swept Away or Couples Negril. But we are open to all suggestions. It is our 10th anninversary this summer as well so that is why we are wanting a couples only resort.

We were quoted a price for an all inclusive at Couples Negril for a Sunda to Sunday in May for $3727.00. Is this a pretty good price. Includes the flight and all.

Can't really know if it's a good price as you've not specified the room type desired. Where are you flying from? Be sure and have a current passport!
