Top Spot For A Long Awaited Vacation! |
|
My husband and I have been through some really stressful situations with our business over the last couple of years. We now have a chance to get away at the end of June and really want to unwind. We are not able to make multiple trips to the different areas of Jamaica so want to find the spot with THE most relaxing atmosphere but also with entertainment. This may be a one and only trip for now so we want to make the most of our time. I am leaning towards either Negril or Ocho Rios but want to know the really NICEST and top notch place to stay for an all inclusive. Help, also I have never flown before so this is a biggie for me!

Hello LittleMinerva, Sometimes paying a lot of money does not guarantee that you will get what you want. I would start looking for the right part of the island first. PORT ANTONIO. http://www.portantoniotravel.com/ Secondly, the right hotel. One that will completely make you realize how much we are a part of nature. Also, one that will pamper and spoil you. A hotel that will make you feel like you are not in a hotel. http://www.hotelmockingbirdhill.com/ An area that will offer you multiple choices of things to do and experiences to live. All these will help to get your mind back on track again. To be together once again. Report as inappropriate

Greetings Minerva, Sometimes I wonder if Johnny even actually reads the posts before he offers his suggestions... LOL Since you are looking for an all-inclusive high-end resort with good entertainment, nothing he suggests is what you're looking for. There are MANY excellent 'top-notch' a/i's in Jamaica... I suggest that you do some research on the following and then if there are some that appeal to you, you can ask more specific questions... Grand Lido Negril Grand Lido Braco Half Moon Resort Couples Negril Couples Swept Away Couples Sans Souci Ritz-Carleton Rose Hall Blessings and respect to you, I hope that helps. Steve, Learn to read the message in my reply before you start any uncalled for sacastic jokes that do not help to give the poster what they want to hear. If you do not like what I suggest then do not read it. Concentrate on giving your own reply. LittleMinerva. I have been in your situation and know first hand what I am talking about. Take my humble advice and look into what I have suggested and where I recommended to completly get away from the crowds. Report as inappropriate

I am not upset. I appreciate all of you trying to help me out. Especially since I don't really know what I am doing. I have triple aaa but didn't know if I should go through them or just on my own. Report as inappropriate

Cool. I'm not fully aware of what triple aaa does or can do for you, but you're definately doing the right thing by researching on your own before you go ahead and make any decisions. Here's a few things that might help you narrow your choices down... Perhaps you want an adult only resort? If so that definately cuts your choices down some. Perhaps you have certain things in Jamaica that you'd like to visit while there which may affect your choice of actual locations. Perhaps you want to be in a busy downtown area or perhaps you want to be in a more quiet rural/country setting? Perhaps you would realllllly love to have a great spa on site? Or you want tons of dining choices? Gourmet? Maybe you want a really luxurious posh room, or maybe you'd prefer to go fairly basic and have more to spend on other things, maybe you would really like 24 hour room service... If you can give some of that kind of info, I'm sure we could start to narrow your choices down a lot. Although, I must mention that I am pretty sure you are going to LOVE Jamaica irregardless of where you chose to stay. Blessings and respect to you. Steve Report as inappropriate

...what sort of entertainment do you enjoy? Is a really nice beach very important to you? Do you prefer a large resort or a small one? Golf? Other sports, watersports? ... Report as inappropriate
