Beta won't hit Jamaica, but unfortunately it's headed straight for Nicaragua, and might affect Cabo, Honduras, and Costa Rica. Let's pray for those people and hope this is the end of this horror movie of a hurricane season.

The weather system currently over Jamaica has the danger to cause further flooding. There is a storm warning in effect and people in flood prone areas are required to move to shelters.
Thanks Miyaad- Is Ocho Rios currently one of those areas? I am traveling to Ochi with my son Nov 16.
No, I think Ochi is OK, worse probs in Mobay, Trewlany and Falmouth.

The weather over Jamaica has deteriorated rapidly over
the pass 24 hours, we have been having continuous rain
fall and some serious flooding island wide, this is
especially so over the northern sections of the
country. Our met service has issued a flash flood
warning for the entire country and it is expected to
get worst in the next 24 to 48 hours.
