Hello, I personally have enjoyed MoBay the last five years, but will be trying the Whitehouse this February. As you said, reviews are sketchy. Personally, I sometimes think some of these reviews are from people who stayed at another resort, but everyone has different likes and dislikes. Many reviews are very good to excellent, while others say it was terrible. If you care to I wrote a review from this past February's trip I believe sometime around late February - March 2005. If you would like pics of MoBay I'd be happy to send them to you. I'm sure others posting may have differing opinions, however I believe my pics speak for themselves. I've read reviews of many of the other resorts that are usually mentioned on this forum and they too have many negative and positive reviews. In my opinion, I don't think you can go wrong at any of the one's usually mentioned like Grand Lido, Couples, etc., however we have been very pleased with Sandals and at this time have no reason to try another brand. We have also always found the other resorts to be more costly than Sandals. Good luck with your decision and if I can give you any more info, please let me know.

Hi .WE would not say Sandals is better than other resorts like the Grand lido's ,Couples ,Half moon and others on the same level they are not as nice as some .They do however offer low end rooms for a affordable price and then offer services comparable to much more expensive properties.Sandals does offer very high end accomodations as well and everything in between.We find the Grand Lido's ect. out of our price range but if we could afford it we would surely go.More inclusions ect. than Sandals .We have thought of trying Breezes Runaway Bay but the Golf Course is not as nice as Sandals Ocho Rios course.The prices is comparable as long so we stick to a low end room.If money is no object try the Lido's,Couples and high end rooms at Sandals they probably all offer a great vacation but each one different and unique.Only with trying them will you find out which is the one for you. Sandals because they are affordable, upper end properties with everything that encompasses and the stay at one play at many inclusion does the trick for us so we keep going back.
