 Vacation choices..The Grand(s) or Souci

I am planning a trip in Febuary to Jamaica. Affter all the research I have decided between Grand Lido Negril, Braco and Sans Souci. I have heard that the pool at Braco is out of commission anyone been resently to conirm that? Also would love to hear from anyone who has been to all three or maybe two that can tell a little comparision about the accomidations and comparisons of each. I heard rave reviews about the Sans Souci.. I like a little night life too so that is also a plus. This is our tenth anniversary and first time out of the states. IMPORTANT I have heard that no passport is needed just raised Birth Certificates and others forms of picture ID is that still true also?

Thanks for the input...

Greetings and welcome,

Sorry not to respond sooner. It has been a wonderfully busy Holiday Season.

Although I have not stayed at Sans Souci, I have stayed at both of the Grand Lidos. I was just at Grand Lido Braco at the beginning of Dec. I do have clients who have been to Sans Souci, and I do know a fair amount about it as well myself from research.

To answer some of your questions:

Although Passports are still not officially a "requirement" they will be soon, and I strongly advise you to get one if you can.

The main pool at Grand Lido Braco was closed for a short while in November to be repaired, but it was fully restored by the time I was there. It's a beautiful pool, and so is the A/N pool !

Although each very unique from each other, All three of these resorts are top-notch. ESPECIALLY when it comes to the food and dining and service.

I have to run for now, but I'll be happy to give you some more info and answer any more specific questions soon.

Blessings and respect to you. Happy New Year.

Steve
