I am thinking about booking this resort for my honeymoon......any advise from people that have stayed here. Should I spend the extra money for a beach front room?

As you may already know, the Sunset Jamaica Grande was formerly the Ranaissance Jamaica Grande, and has yet to open under it's new name and management.

There will be almost a completely new staff, and the resort is in the process of phase 1 of major changes to the hotel rooms, restaurants and grounds.

Therefore, a review that anyone gives you on this resort - excluding it's location and beach - may be completely inaccurate.
