Hi -- haven't perused Trip Advisor for awhile -- but thought I'd give a review of our wedding this past April.
First trip to Jamaica was spent 10 years ago at an AI in Negril --it was very nice -- But now I've seen the light!!
This time - we stayed at a villa - (Wharf House in Montego Bay). Absolutely amazing experience! Great food, fantastic people that took very good care of us -- we never really wanted to go and eat out -- the food was so good at the villa! Thanks Andrea! And Robert and Sharon and Peadove and Leisha-- by the way - the Wharf House is stunning and I don't know what the deal is with people saying that the noise level from the street is troublesome? I rarely noticed it.
Levan was our driver for the week and he showed us parts of Jamaica that we fell in love with - very un-touristy places.
Lisa and her staff at Jamaican Treasures were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. On a side not - other family members used Linda Smith and didn't have a similar experience....
We used Sungold Photogrpahy and Paula and Damian were great - we couldn't have been happier - check out their website - you can pull photos of our wedding up under - "Megan and Gregg" - great shots of the Wharf House during the wedding -
We used a local wedding coordinator. She was absolutely terrible. Past awful. But we got past it with the help of our staff and local generosity of spirit.
Can't wait to go back!!!
