If you want to go clubbing.. I definately suggest Cancun. There are so MANY bars to go to and you take take the bus or taxi's & it is completely safe!

Yea I have been to cancun twice and had the time of my life. I was just tying to find other places that may compare. I was looking into Jamaica, but I have read a lot that it is unsafe and there isnt anything to do outside of your hotel, and lots of places dont encourage you to leave your hotel.

Have you thought about Cabo San Lucas? It's on the west coast of Mexico and a great fun town for younger people. We oldies like it too. Go to the Cabo forum and check it out.

I certainly leave my hotel in Jamaica, all the time.

If you like DISCOS and foam parties and big crowds and high rise hotels and stuff like that Cancun is the place.

If you like reggae, dancing in the sand on the beach, more laid back feel, smaller hotels that you can still see palm trees over, Negril would be the best bet.

If you've been to Isla Mujeres, it is often compared to Negril.
