What excursions did you do?

Hi! Unfortunately, it was a short trip for me - with travel, only five days. BUT I could've stayed forever! My friend Amy and her girlfriends went last November (I'm sure her post is on here somewhere!). Milton took us to a private falls that isn't a tourist attraction. I LOVED watching the little JA boys playing in them. Got a fresh water massage from them myself and it was fabulous. Getting my pics back today and can't wait! Amy went to Dolphin Cove, snorkeling (I think) and went horseback riding in the ocean. I'm sure she could tell you more! With it being 6 below windchill when I left here, stress level HIGH, I was content just to be pampered by the staff who I now consider very sweet friends, and soak up the sun, sights, food and sounds! Be careful of the Overproof Rum!! :-}

I know exactly how you feel we are going back for our second year in a row there. I would not stay at an AI again in Jamaica. Carousel Villa we feel is the way to go for total relaxation & be in total control of your vacation. Glad to hear you loved it as mcuh as we do. "M"

Did you try some new and interesting things to eat?

What was your favorite new food?

The food was fabulous! I had ackee & saltfish with boiled flour dumplins & green banana, cabbage & saltfish with boiled yam & green banana, red snapper with one of Millie's secret sauces, pumpkin soup (absolutely delicious and soothing) and of course fresh lobster, near impossible to top! We were told that if we didn't care for the meal they would fix us something else! That didn't happen but what a kind thought. Thanks Millie and Ozzie! You're tops in my book!

taz1 - You will love it! I continue to use the memories of my trip to meditate for a bit each day and take away the stress of this rush rush topsy-turvy world we live in. The whole experience reminds me to daily count my blessings and thank that Higer Power that delivered me to the doorstep of Carousel Villa and new friends.
