If a great beach is what you are looking for, Sandals Whitehouse has an awesome beach. It is one of the, if not the, nicest beaches that I have been on in the Caribbean. You can walk forever and there is no other resort around.

I have been to all the Sandals in Jamaica and while Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Negril have decent beaches, they cannot compare with Sandals Whitehouse.

Hello, Can't speak directly about WH although I will be going there next February, but I can speak about MoBay and RC. The beach at MoBay is very very nice. You can get true beachfront rooms, right on the beach or villas right on the beach. WH only has oceanview rooms. WH is brand new so it is certainly georgeous I'm sure and is supposedly the nicest of all the Sandals, but again every one has a different opinion. At MoBay you can be as active as you want or as lazy as you choose. There are lots of romantic nooks and crannies on the resort to be romantic as well as many public places with lots of people to have fun with. I find it to be the best of both worlds. Also, if this is important to you, you have to travel an additional hour and a half to get to WH while Mb is only ten minutes from the airport. Something to consider. You really can't go wrong at either one in my opinion, just basically what you are looking for. The WH is also much larger than MB, or i should say more spread out. I too, haven't stayed at the Whitehouse, but I can heartily recommend the Sandals Negril, partly because of the resort (splurge and get one of the two story honeymoon suites right on the beach) and the beach itself, but also because Negril and the western end of Jamaica is my favorite part of the island.
