I wish you the best of luck regarding finding a direct flight from South America. You might be able to find one, but I certainly can't and I'm coming from California, USA. It's very difficult to find flights to Guadeloupe in general unless you are flying from France or Montreal, Canada. I know in Atlanta, Georgia which is in the U.S., they have a direct flight that leaves only on Saturdays. However if you are in South America, most likely you will have to fly into San Juan, PR and catch a connecting flight. Check out this website called sidestep.com and bookingbuddy.com, they both are really good at searching for flights all over the world.

i m actually living in mexico on an island called holbox and used to lived in ste anne for 4 years few years ago.

so i planed to go on holidays there in april but unfortunatly i m about 3 hours flying from there and by plane i would spent like 20 hours, leaving from cancun and passing by miami and another country!! i ll be quicker swimming!!!

i m so disappointed!

St. Martin is another good way to get to Guadeloupe. If you can get to St. Martin (Juliana, code SXM), you can then take a short taxi ride to the little domestic airport on the French side of the island (Esperance, code SFG) and take Air Caraibes or Air Antilles Express to Pointe a Pitre.

You can also get to Guadeloupe from St. Barts.
