“ Grenada for 1 day - suggestions? ”

We`ll be spending 1 day in St Georges/Grenada in December 2007 as part of a cruise to the Southern Caribbean.

Has anyone any suggestions or must-sees for a half-day sightseeing trip on this island, nature experiences, birdwatching, what to do, which beaches to visit? (preferable beaches with NOT so many people + great snorkelling, if possible)

Is it better to do an organized trip or to just rent a scooter or car?

We`d be very happy for any infos!
