Where do you pack snorkel gear?

Just bought our first snorkel gear - 2 masks - 2 snorkels and one pair flippers.

So where should be pack them?

We have a snorkel bag that holds all of it.... It's pretty big, if it doesn't end up fitting in our suitcase, then we just check it in as another piece of luggage

Our 2 masks and snorkels and my fins are all packed in our check luggage.

Mask and snorkel is in our checked luggage but we found after a few trips that we don't need the flippers so that helped with the space needed and weight of our bags. We also pack noodle for floating.
