tweetybird24,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip !!

To prebook your a la cartes, send an email to Leonardo Astacio, no sooner than 7-10 days prior to your arrival.

gerenterrppbpamb@bahia-principe.com

Provide him with your names, booking number, date of arrival and tour operator name - and of course the a la cartes you desire - date/time.

The a la cartes are open from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

When you arrive at the Bahia resort complex, you will be dropped off at the Bahia Bavaro resort lobby. Just advise the porters there that you are staying at the Luxury Bahia Ambar. They will put your luggage onto a separate trolly and transport you to the Anbar lobby where you will check in.

After you have checked in, ask to be directed to the "Guest Services" desk, where you will be provided with your a la carte reservation receipts - you will need these to provide to the staff at the entrance to each of the a la cartes you have booked.

Just in the event you are wondering about the different theme nights at the main buffet for a la carte scheduling - here they are:

Monday ........ Española

Tuesday ....... Italian

Wednesday .....Oriental

Thursday ... Gala (seafood)

Friday ......... Dominicana

Saturday ............... Mexican

Sunday .......... American (Like BBQ - different meats)

Here is the dress code for all of the a la cartes with the exception of the "gourmet" a la carte called the "Don Pablo"

" No bathing-suits or sleeveless shirts or open toed shoes - dress shoes or a nice sandal is acceptable. Dress shorts, long pants, long or short sleeve shirts for men are fine - ladies are good with shorts, capris, dresses, pants"

Here is the dress code for the Don Pablo gourmet a la carte at the Ambar - For men, long pants or trousers - no shorts or sleeveless shirts - long or short sleeve shirts - no open toed shoes - dress shoes or a nice sandal is fine. For the ladies, any shoe is acceptable, but not swimming sandals - flip flops as they refer to them.

For the buffet, open toed footwear, including flip flops, dress shorts, pants are permitted for all meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner - no bathing suits or sleeveless shirts.

You will find that many men will wear a pair of kahki long pants to dinner and the ladies very often are dressed in capris or a dress.

I hope this does help.
