Wondering if anyone has been there lately and if so what they thought of it?

We just returned from the Sunrise Villa last week. The property is beautiful but the amenities shown on the web site did not match what was on site. Swimming on the beach in front of the house is not safe but there are beaches very close by. The food was average, the staff very friendly. We had continuous issues with the showers. The Villas closest to the beach had no temperature control for the showers resulting in cold showers EVERY night. We were told that we found the "quirk". As for little ones, the pool is perfect but again, the beach would be dangerous. There was no gaming system and the games were well worn and missing pieces. We never saw a video library. We have rented many homes in the past if you would like reccomendations.

Yes I would like recommendations. We are considering Sunrise for next Dec and your comment gives me more than pause.

I am the owner of Sunrise Villa.

We have been open for 8 years and have hosted nearly ver 250 groups. This is our first disgruntled guest.

Rather than argue the points I will simply state her review is both misleading and factually incorrect.

I would like to point out that the client never contacted me with any concerns, either during their stay or afterwards. How can an owner try to "make things right" without being given the opportunity to do so?

8 of our 30 rental groups this year are repeat guests, one for their 5th visit.

Sunrise Villa is my personal beachfront villa. We are not part of a chain nor is the villa managed by an outside agency. Everyone in the Sunrise family, myself included, takes great pride in our property and our service offering. Contrary to this lady's comments, you will have a great vacation with us.
