We got married last year at IHD and went with first choice.

The transfer is about 1 hr 30 but we did it in a storm.

Its not too bad, nice scenery but take a fan as air con is not good enough especially if you have kids.

Forgot to say all best rooms by the beach as they are quieter.

We were a party of 16 and nobody had any upset stomachs.

Dont worry this hotel is fab.

Block 4 is the closest to the beach. We were lucky enough to get a room in this block on our first visit.

I emailed ahead before our 2nd trip but we were not so lucky. We were in Block 3, which is fine.

In my opinion, the only building to avoid is Block 1 which is very near to the theatre. It may not be a problem as I have not slept in that building.

We used First Choice both trips. The journey time is one and a half hours which on top of a nine hour flight is not great. However, this beautiful hotel is worth it.

We had no tummy troubles whatsoever either time.
