I went to Rui Naiboa a few years ago. Overall it was not a bad place. I found my room to be clean and comfortable. Now unless it has changed if you get a room on the left side (wing)of the building you might have an unplesant odor in your room. I know that some people asked for a different room and one was provided.

Food was not bad there was plenty to chose from ... I found it a bit grease... but they are "Bulk cooking". The al a cart restaunt fills up quickly and I was told if you want to eat there signup as soon as you arrive... The food was pretty good. If I rem the sign up is in the main lobby by the resturaunt. One good thing is that you can go to all Rui properties.... So when you are at the Beach you can walk up to Taino and grab a beverage and a snack.

As for cultural sights I know they offer tours. I was on one where we visited caine fileds, Cigar shop and a coffee plantaion along with a few other stops.
