I loved Breezes Curacao and it really burns me when I see people trashing it.

Yes it needed some touch up paint here and there, yes the buffet could of been more creative but most resort buffets are about the same, and yes we saw the odd staff member looking miserable or was not very pleasant to speak with. As far as staff went all most all of them were polite and very accommodating.

I don't think we have ever, and I mean ever, gone to a resort where every single staff member was upbeat and friendly. You always get a couple here or there can't be bothered, are miserable and they hate their job, etc, etc. But hey, a nice smile, a nice word, and you usually get a decent response back.

Breezes management are trying to improve on their image by doing renovations, some painting, menu changes, and monitoring the staff and their service---what more can be done!

After all Breezes is an older property and people should expect it to somewhat old but well maintained and clean, which it is, but give them a break they are making improvements.

Besides for the price it is a fantastic deal---AI, lots of activities, lots of variety, and it is clean.

Anyways, how was Breezes Jibacoa, Cuba??

I'd love to see some pictures, was it overcrowded with kids, how was the snorkelling (heard Cuba is not to great for snorkelling??) food??, beach??, what about water---did you have to use bottled water for drinking and brushing your teeth ??,and what were the rooms like.
