We are getting married on the 19 of feb. will let you know how it goes! I can't wait to get out of this cold! We leave on the 14 and return on the 28.

I am getting married there on February 27th, I am so excited, I have asked for it to be on the beach as well, and to have tropical flowers instead of just roses, which I could have had here. I am super excited. I will let you when we get back. I hope to hear more from some brides before we go how it went

for anyone interested, i have a friend who is going down to Cuba on Monday and she has a friend staying at Sirenas La Salina. We are planning on getting married in Varadero in Jan 2009.... haven't decided on which hotel yet. Please let me know how all you ladies' days go. I too am looking at input. A lady I deal with at work got married in Varadero but at Playa Alameda and she said she had a blast.

We just got back from the Sirenas on Monday, and saw 4 wedddings that week on the beach.

One poor girl lost her wedding ring in the sand.

Not sure if they every found it.

From what I could see 'suntanning on the beach',

the bride and party would walk up the beach serenaded by a band playing cuban music upto a white organza covered archway covered in red hibiscus and the path was lined with hisbiscus as well. Beautiful. One wedding, all four girls and flower girls were in the water up to their waists, wedding gowns, flowers and all and then the guys ran in , 'tackled' the girls and lifted them up on their shoulders for pics. Pretty amazing.. That's about all I saw.. We've been married 28 yrs.. so I didn't follow to see where they went after that... hahaha
