We are also going but in April and we have just been told the same, i did read on a review on here, that the beach returaunt will be closed may-dec for rennovations.

We are going for a wedding and are a bit annoyed really as the last thing we want on our wedding pics is a big dirty old JCB !

don't worry about anything the PRDO will do everything so that your holiday will not be spoilt there are still plenty of places to eat and drink and the new spa should be almost complete have a good time we cannot wait to go back at xmas.

I too had my letter, flying out 6th May and getting married. I must admit at first I was a little annoyed, but thinking about it there is nothing we can do and the Wedding Gazebo is out of the way and nothing could ruin this gorgeous view and the photo's.

We are going on the 7th April and my sister is getting wed in the second week.

We have also just emailed the hotel to request a block and they replied in just a few hours from sending it saying they will do there best to get us our block !!

Also just read on some other forum topics that the work on the beach (which is the main work being done) does not start until 10th May so it wont really affect us.

Hi all of you don't worry, I have just returned from the PRDO and would not of known the work was going on if I had not received a letter from my tour operator.

The major work has been done , most of it now is landscaping, you can walk past the works, the footpath leads you to two small lovely beaches, well worth the 10 mins walk

Just go and enjoy it is a great hotel with great food,drink,staff

Hi 'doc'; Did you or anyone you were travelling with use the services of the spa (although spa is being renovated the services are still available). If so, what were they like? If there were 3 things that we should not miss seeing at this resort what would they be. Will be going in April. Thanks
