I use selloffvactions.com to get the price for my vacations and then take them to my travel agent and he matches the price everytime. I find that selloffvactions.com is consistently one of the lowest priced vacation wholesellers on the net but I still prefer dealing with my travel agent. The best of both worlds, I guess. Find a local travel agent you feel comfortable with and see if they will price match. I hope this helps.

I have booked with them twice. Once online and once by phone. We've also booked with them for this March Break. I've never had any problem with them. In fact, when they couldn't get the tickets to me by Christmas (it was a Christmas present for the kids), they sent me ticket folders, luggage tags, resort brochures, etc. to wrap (their idea). I've dealt with a few people there, but my favourite is a girl named Virginia. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

Sure .. Depending on where you are located. We book through Sun-Wing vacations out of Toronto, and the Breezes is not too bad a place to stay. There is a Canadian owned Pizza Nova in the Las Americas Mall if you crave for wome Canadian Food. My financee and I eat rice for about 4 days until we finally found this place. Be careful of what you eat for food in the resorts even seafood! I got food poisioning the 2nd lat day which compeltely ruined our trip and I had eaten a small peice of lobster. What a drag - I should know better. Definately bring a bag of nuts pop wine, whatever... make the trip to Havana it is a great place to see. The beaches are the best in the world that I have seen so far. Been To Hawaii Maui Mexico twice and the Dominican. I would go back to Cuba anytime.

Also check out www.escapes.ca. I have booked with them online and they also seem to have great prices. They're based in Vancouver and you have the option of online booking, telephone booking or, if you're in Van, booking in person. I'm leaving for Varadero on the 27th so although I haven't taken my trip yet, everything else with them has gone smoothly and they have been very helpful. I found out about the site while reviewing other traveller posts/reviews on the web, checked it out and was pleasantly surprised by their prices.

I do the same as Bose...talk the price from the site to a travel agent for them to match it. Selloffvacations.com is great but sometimes I find holidaymarkettravel.com or sunholidays.ca a touch cheaper. Someone also told me about wholesaletravel.com.

Gotraveldirect.ca also has o/s prices. travelled with them last year and again in the spring this year.

I checked the package I got thru selloffvacations.com against holidaymarkettravel.com, sunholidays.ca, wholesaletravel.com and gotraveldirect.ca and holidaymarkettravel.com had the best price by $16. (With gotraveldirect.ca I couldn't get past their deal to Tobago??)

We were going to book with selloffvacations, but found a better deal at escapes.ca. We're going to Breezes in Varadero Feb 7, so we'll see how they are.
