 The Reefs in Sept

We are considering going to the Reefs in September for our honeymoon. We are in our late-twenties (her) and early thirties (me). By no means are we looking for a "party" atmosphere, but we will likely want to have a few cocktails in the evening and possibly interact with others in a bar-like setting on occasion. Is this possible at the Reefs or nearby. By most accounts, the Reefs seems like a wonderful honeymoon destination. Thanks.

The REEFS is a GREAT choice. The three(3) on-premise restaurants are among the best dining rooms on Bermuda. The bar/lounge area in the main Clubhouse is a pleasant place--if a bit quiet but a fine place to sit and chat over a drink and they often have modest local entertainments and dancing (but no one will ever list this a one of Bermuda's 'hot night spots'). For a little more '..action..' in the evenings (though still not 'hot') there is a pretty good pub/bar, just across and a short stroll down the road to HENRY VIII.

Since this is a honeymoon, be sure to reserve one of the torch-lit table set-ups, right down on the beach (guessing just how close the tide will get to your bare feet before coffee and dessert) for dinner one evening (weather permitting).

The Reefs has been our choice for our last 5 visits. My wife will not stay anywhere else in Bermuda. The lounge is very 'civilized', with quality cocktails and entertainment each night. The Reefs caters for those who are looking for a quality, relaxing holiday. The restaurants are second to none. Many locals celebrate special occasions and conduct business luncheons at the property. Staff is attentive yet discreet. I would not hesitate to recommend The Reefs as your honeymoon destination. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials.

Thank you both for the very informative comments. It seems like The Reefs may be the ideal destination.

Have you considered Pompano?? It is also a great spot for a honeymoon and it is more casual, you will see more of a younger crowd there as well. Their waterfront is amazing -have a look at their website - pompano.bm if you haven't booked yet. Go to tripadvisor.com for raving reviews.
