St. Georges for 20 somethings

Hi - an opportunity has arisen for FREE use of a St. George's Club timeshare for next summer. The girls would be in their early 20's. I've heard ST. George is a little quiet - not huge party gals but would like some nightlife. Would they have to take bus to Hamiliton - how long and is it safe to do so? Wouldn't be every night. Opinions appreciated.

Well the Swizzle Inn, would be a good spot, and it is maybe 15 minutes from St. George. Buses are very safe, but do not run that late, so a Cab ride home would be needed. Pricey, but no worse than in Boston or NYC. If it is free, I would think it would be worth it!

As you suppose, there's a lotta' history in the '..olde towne..' of Saint George's but...not a lotta' '..nightlife..'. There are a couple of pubs that might get '..lively..' on a Friday or Saturday evening...but not much else. As noted above, the original SWIZZLE INN is twenty(2o) minutes away via bus and this might be a little more lively. The public bus ride between downtown Saint George's and downtown Hamilton will be approx. sixty(60) minutes last run of the evening departs downtown Hamilton at 11:45 PM Mon-Sat--10:45 Sun & Hols.)....and perfectly safe.

But com'on...free accommodations in Bermuda for a week during summer ??...It's a '..no-brainer..'...Go for it !!

I second that. A taxi home shared between a few people will be affordable especially if they are getting free accommodation.
