Hello,

With the positive reviews and negative reviews at Wyndham Resort & Spa. Could these reviews be where you bought your vacation package from? What I really want to say is, if a family bought a vacation package from Priceline or Hotwire at a lower rate then Wyndham put you/family in a un-finished (bugs section) section; but if a family bought a vacation package from a travel agents (Expedia, etc..) then Wyndham put this family into a nicer section.. For passed Wyndham vacationer, let me know where you bought your package from and a short feedback at this hotel. Many thanks,

I purchased our whole vacation from our travel agens, as she was able to get us the best deal. You can read my review of the Wyndham in the review section. Mine is fairly negative and we hade a very nice junior suite-type room in the Baywing. I don't think it's a matter of how or from whom you purchase the vacation, but the resort itself.

I'm just back from 5 nights at the Wyndham (July 13-18). I purchased our hotel stay directly through Wyndham. I booked two rooms, resort view and that's what I received. The rooms were not the renovated rooms, but they were clean and adequate. We did see some ants, but there was no infestation in our rooms. We kept all our food in a refridgerator and I would recommend you do the same. Our family enjoyed our vacation and will not hesitate to return. The kids could not get enough of the water park and it was great to have a choice of three beaches. We especially loved Cross Bay. The shuttle to Cross Bay runs frequently and the staff at the hotel is friendly. We also rented kayaks (highly recommend) and paddle boats (don't bother, the steering was lousy) from the Dive Shop in Boat Bay. I was very apprehensive about our visit as I had been reading reviews and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel in general. Yes, there are some growing pains but it in no way impacted our enjoyment of the facilities. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable Bermuda vacation.

I recently posted a long review with 10 pictures called "Almost Paradise At The Wyndham". Check it out. :)
