 Pompano or The Reefs

Hi, My husband and I have booked our flights. We are in our 50's and looking for the perfect place to stay. We want ocean front, spectacular view, terrific meals, a bar with music at night, a beautiful beach and a good bacon and egg style breakfast, clean private rooms with a balcony, but not a huge resort hotel with lots of children, we love them but not on our vacation. The Reefs and the Pompano Beach Club keep coming up, but is the Pompano too far out on the island to do day trips by bus and get back for our dinner. This is our first trip and we want it to be spectular, with great views and lots of fun. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi - we're heading back to The Reefs for the 6th time in July - the perfect holiday, in our opinion.

Great facilities, friendly staff, fantastic food, right on the bus line, what more can I say.

Give them a try - when are you going? They book up very quickly.

Whatever you decide, have fun.

P.S. we're in our 60's been going to The Reefs since our 40's.

It's just lovely.

Hi There....

We went to the Reefs to celebrate our honeymoon (2nd marriage for us both). We are both in our late 40's.....

I read all of your above "desires"....and I truly believe that The Reefs would be a perfect fit for you.

For that spectacular view (although you cant go wrong with any room at The Reefs) try to book a Jr. Suite......

Although it has been mentioned in past posts that The Reefs has had trouble with children.....it certainly does NOT have alot of them, and I wouldn't let that be a deterrant in booking with this wonderful hotel

Read my hotel review "Wonderful Honeymoon at the Reefs". I submitted it mid-July last year, (w-pics). It goes into a little bit more detail of our stay at the Reefs!.
