Some random questions about the Radisson

Hello all,

Are the coffee makers in the room regular brew style or by any chance have they upgraded to Keurig machines?

The hotels doesn't list microwaves in the amenities. Just wanted to double check that there are none.

Do all of the palapas usually get taken? I was wondering if we'd have any chance of one on the afternoon of the day we arrive.

Are the restaurants/casinos air conditioned or open?

Thank you!

No Keurig machines. The coffee makers brew one cup at a time and use single serve paper filter packets of coffee.

No microwaves.

Casino has AC, Gilligan's and Laguna are open air restaurants. I think Sunset Grill has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Not sure about palapas. We just got back, and they were all in use each day. If you arrive in the afternoon, there may be some available if guests are departing or just tired of being on the beach. Just ask at the towel hut.

Have a great trip!

I will not reply to your 1st two questions because they are not important to me so I have not noticed.

We always found a palapa in the afternoon during our visits last year and the prior year.

The casino is air conditioned. Gilligan's is a casual restaurant that is open air. Sunset Grille is an upscale restaurant that has indoor, air conditioned seating or outdoor seating.

As far as palapas are concerned a lot will depend on what time of year you go. We've been there in the summer months and had open palapas next to us for most of the day, mind you we are not particular where our shade is so we usually aren't front row on the beach, but if any spot will do you should be fine those months. Also if you go later in the afternoon you shouldn't have trouble finding one as the 6AM palapa hunters need a break too. In busier months I've seen the line outside the towel hut (just before close) grow to 10+ people for what I'm guessing is the the next days reservation (a line you'll NEVER see me in).

I am complete agree with Time4Scuba its totally depend when you are travelling to this place. And what time are you looking for the palapas. Casinos are air conditioned and more of this you will love Aruba what ever the conditions and availability.
