I don't know of any places that will allow you in without shoes, unless you are walking the beach and stop at a beach bar.

Unless you are ordering at a pool bar you will need shirts and shoes to enter.

Good call!

Aruba isn't stuffy by any means, but it's a little more buttoned-up than the Maldives or Mauritius or the Seychelles, by all accounts. I hope you have a great vacation.

Flip Flops will do and when you are actually dining on the beach most restaurants have a place to store your shoes/flip flops!

They actually have roads and streets in Aruba something thats not apparent on most Maldive atolls but very relaxed and casual works

Aruba is a casual laid back Island, even the handful of upscale places to dine or hangout our casual. That said, i think some people should rethink what casual means. The guy wearing a t shirt and flip-flops while having dinner at White Modern was tacky and inappropriate for that establishment. How hard is it to put on a decent shirt and a pair of loafers. Thats Island casual for the evening and i am sure the wife would appreciate it! Same with the casinos, no one is saying men should be wearing a suit and tie or the ladies should be dressed like she is going to The Met but maybe rethink the cutoff shorts! Thats just my humble opinion, does not make it right for everyone.
