Although I didn't stay at the Bucuti, I had to check it out from all the good reviews, it looked really nice and because of it's location (at the end of the street) not much traffic, the street dead ends into the parking lot, The outside looked as if they had just repainted it and there were some rooms behind the Restaurant that were either new or being remodeled and looked great, the pool is tiny and is surrounded by their restaurant that looks like a pirate ship (pretty cool), the beach area there was dead and very quiet, most of eagle beach was slow, some areas were marked off due to the sea turtles in incubation under the sand waiting to hatch, the Arubans take good care of these little guys so stay away from them. The only hussle and bussle I saw was on the street leading up to the Bucutis parking lot, there is a place to get breakfast just 200 ft down from the parking lot, take that out and the traffic would probably just be from the hotel patrons, I think it's a great choice for laid back no frills vacations, oh yeah, just before the pool is the bucuti cam, takes your pic each morn at 9am and post it at www.bucuticam.com, check it out

Don't worry.... it's quiet and peaceful... and I've stayed in several different suites.

The upper floor is the penthouse and I assure you, it's awesome.
