We just returned from the Grand and absolutely loved it. It has the best beach on the strip and we always got a hut on the beach no matter what time we went. The room was larger than I expected. The bathroom was huge and spotless and had a large walk-in closet. The staff was wonderful - very accommodating and friendly. Since it was sold to the Riu group, it will be undergoing a major renovation in Jan 2006. They are adding 300 rooms, expanding the casino, will have live entertainment. We were also told that it will be going all-inclusive.

We just loved this hotel so much and hope that the expansion does not change the nice small and quiet atmosphere of this resort.
