Fran and Carimar are on the same beach, Carimar does not have a pool.

For $25 a day you can use the beachside pool, pirate ship pool play area etc at Carimar's neighbour Malliouhana Hotel. It's really fun going down the water slide from the pirate cave set-up.

I think Fran is worth the extra money if you want a pool. And with only 16 rooms the pool will never be busy.
