A little cloudy here today, and we spent the the morning nosing around out at Seafeathers and the Sandy Hill Club as we have never been up that way before. Looks pretty quiet. Found Tropical Distributers and bought some Pyrat.

Had lunch at Gerauds, very flakey paninis and so glad it's close to us, and ended up bumping into MIKSTV and his wife who invited us to see their villa and sit around their pool which we really enjoyed. Very quiet and peaceful there down on the west end. And of course more talk of Anguilla of which I can never get enough. We are Anguilla neopytes and Mr. and Mrs. MIKSTV who have been all over the Caribbean but love Anguilla the best had lots of great stories to share. Thanks for letting us snoop around your villa. We loved it.

Welcome any time, Mr and Mrs. Daffy! See you soon on Meads or on Shauna! Or, back home....

Seafeathers and Sandy Bay are very residential and are indeed quiet. Did you make your way down to Sandy Hill Beach? One of our favorites for a quiet, relaxing time. Good snorkeling there, too.

Waiting not-so-patiently for the Thursday issue of Daffy's Day -

You and Mr. Daffy are making the most of every moment. No moss under your feet. Where is MIKSTV's villa?

Since you were out at the East End did you go through Island Harbour or down to Junk's Hole. Or is that a future issue of Daffy's Day?

Glad you're enjoying your time in paradise.

Mr and mrs MIKSTV are at Panarea Villa in the West End, near Picante. Look for the bumpiest, bounciest most pot-holed dirt road, and make that left turn, we are down there in the boonies. Nice house! Nice pool, in fact I am staring at it as the sun sets while I type, with Mrs. MIKSTV right here! We overlook St Martin. We bumped into the Daffys today on Meads Bay, as well as a group we met last weekend from Canada....like a big Meads Bay social gathering. Spent all day crisping up on Meads, what a yummy beach! Lunch at Straw Hat (great fishy burger) after dinner there last night. Peter and Ann look a little tired going from dinner only to 3 meals a day...but the place, from the outside, is running great. Food just as good as always, and the staff pleasant like usual. Keep it up guys! Off to Picante tonight, time for a margarita and one of their enormous burritos!

Mkstv & Mr. & Mrs. Daffy:

Keep on keepin' on!

Your villa near Picante sounds like a private paradise.

How close do you have to go to get to Shoal Bay West beach?

Till tomorrow's episode...

The daffy's are big slackers. Please forgive us. While we did lots today, the big news is THE PUMPHOUSE! You see it seems we've acquired a new addiction called the Musical Brothers.

There must be a 12 step program somewhere for this island.

To far gone to write anything coherent. I know you all understand.

Will try tomorrow.

The appeal is the lead singer -- I am proud to be his oldest groupie. Great voice & charisma (& cute for days!). They are currently at the Pumphouse on Thursdays and they play Smokeys on Saturday afternoons from 12:30 - 3:30 (once it opens).

P.S. He works maintenance at Turtle's Nest for his day job. I'm considering sneaking out & turning off the water to the unit just so he'll have to come fix it.
