does anyone know if there is a toy store on anguilla? or, where we would get toys for our kid once we're there? thanks... we head there on tuesday!!! yeaaaaa.... tequila sunrise villa, here we come!! renee

Renee, I was in Tackling Box(next to English Rose) today and I was surprised at the number of toys they have in stock. The Dollar Store in El Dorado Mall has cheap beach toys and other "kids" stuff. Maybe Mill's Baby World will have stuff, too.

I would bring along a paperback shell book, some plastic bags for the collectables for your child. Kids love to collect beach stuff. You will also want to take your child out with Junior on his glass bottom boat. Junior is extremely knowledgeable about marine life and runs a children's camp. You can find him on Shoal Bay East, eveeryday but Saturday.

Hi Renee-

Can you comment as to how you liked Tequila Sunrise Villa? We have 3 couples who are planning a weeklong stay there in a few months and are trying to decide between Tequila Sunrise and a competitor, but we LOVE the modern look and feel of Tequila Sunrise. Also, can you comment on the beach at the villa? I'm sure we will go all over the island, but you can't beat a fantastic beach a few steps from your back door and from the pics I've seen the beach looks a bit small.

Tequila Sunrise is grogeous. I visited Renee and Scott at the villa while they were there. It's very contemporary and the furnishings, view, pool are well done. If I remember correctly the rental includes breakfast. I was particularly impressed with the master bedroom and the luxurious bath with outdoor shower. The view of the Anguilla channel and St. Martin is perfect and depending when you'll be there great for whale watching.

The beach is small and okay for lounging. Before villas were constructed the road leading there was challenging but it's now been graded and quite good.

You might want to google the Anguilla Guide Forum February or March 2008 trip reports as Scott posted photos daily of their stay.
