 Accessibility of Cuisinart???

My fiance and I are trying to plan our honeymoon and after hearing about how inaccessible Cap Juluca is, I thought Id ask here about accessibility of Cuisinart??

(We are looking into their junior or luxury suite in beachfront villas or one-two bed suites bc we want a private setting, not to be in a main building w/ tons of ppl).

Any info is really appreciated!!!!!!

for Anguilla

What exactly do you mean by accessibility? If you mean easy to get in and out of, yes Cuisinart is very accessible and it's very close to a lot of the nice restaurants. I've never hear of CJ being inaccessible.

That's a tough one. Cuisinart's luxury junior suites are on the top floor, which means all stairs getting up to them. I'm not sure that's what you're looking for. The junior suites are on the first and second levels. I assume you'd be happier in a first floor unit since there are no elevators (altho I'm not sure whether there might be an elevator to the main house units). Cuisinart has a larger main house and pool area which may make it easier to get around. What I can't remember is whether all the paths are paved to the beachfront villas like they are at Cap Juluca. One place you may want to ask this question is with the AHTA (Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association), which represents the hotels and villas on the island. They may have a better idea what's available. Or call the hotel 800-numbers to get the details. They both have U.S. offices for reservations.

By accessibility I mean wheelchair/handicap accessible, though most of these places don't considr themselves this accessible...but Im asking about as close to little or no stairs as possible and easy access to back meaning, are they stairs to beach?

So what I gather is junior suites on the first level would be our best bet. Ill have our travel agent ask them in greater depth about all of this too. If we did go with this, would we be avoiding steps into the room??

THANKS!

silly typo, meant "easy access to beach" (not "back")

I think either Cap Juluca or Cuisinart would have easy access to the beach front from a ground floor unit. There may be one step to get off the patio onto the sand, or short path to the sand, but I'm not sure how a wheelchair does in the sand. At Cap Juluca, there are restaurants right on the water and right on the beach, but at Cuisinart the restaurants are in or closer to the main house, which is not as close to the beach. Cap Juluca is more spread out, so it feels more private than Cuisinart. I have seen Cuisinart when there are tons of people there, so you may want to avoid school holidays to avoid the busiest times.
