Yes, there will be plenty of taxis meeting the ferry.
Do you know what the fare will be?
It should be about $20 (they have zones now so they can tell you the exact amount at Blowing Point).

I can understand why Turtle's Nest could be described as a "slum/dump" today as it completes the construction of its Phase II buildings. There is an awful lot of work going on there with trucks, debris, etc. But once that is finished, probably by the end of the year from what I've been told, the development should look quite lovely.
When you're inside a beachfront unit or sitting on the balcony, you can neither hear nor see the construction. The Phase II building sits back from the beach and does not line up with the current building. It's just fine there, construction and all (and, yes, the parking are is a mess -- so what?).
If you can climb 4 flights of stairs, head up to the roof with a bottle of champagne at sunset -- glorious!
Thanks Mary, I'm booked for May.
The taxi fare from the ferry to Turtles Nest should be $12.00 US Make sure to ask your taxi driver before you get in so that you know what the fee is before you arrive. Also you should look into renting a car. You cannot pick up cars at the airport or ferry but some rentals will leave them at your hotel. If you need supplies for your stay the Anguilla taxi drivers can be very nice at stoppping at a store where you could pick up some things like juice, coffee, beer or liquor. Just ask!
The outside construction on the 2nd building at Turtles Nest is almost complete and it does not look like a "dump". The atmosphere is very relaxing. Sitting on the beach on beachchairs with umbrellas right next to that beautiful meads bay will be like a dream and Turtles Nest has lots of good things to offer it's guests and the management and staff will be very helpful. Enjoy your vacation.
The construction is dreadful. Turtles Nest does look like a dump. Not only is the noise non stop (7AM -6PM 7 days a week). The mess from the 2nd building is awful, plus the workers dump their trash (lunch)from the building and management thinks it's O.K. I don't know where Mary or cape lady were but they must be deaf & blind. 2nd building is 3/4 back from 1st building, and can be seen from every unit on the east side.
There's a post today on the anguillaforum from a couple who stayed at Turtle's Nest during the very recent Buffet concert weekend. No problems with the construction at all.
We stayed on the west side and, again, between the mega-a/c and the waves crashing, we never heard a thing.
