Nice -- on a beautiful part of Meads Bay. The units are spacious but can be a little warm. Most people who stay there rent a portable a/c for the bedroom. Close by some of our very favorite restaurants (Picante, Lucy's, Trattoria, Smokey's). Try to get oceanfront if you can -- makes a huge difference.

Do they have TV's to rent also? I know, I know...but at night I might want to watch!

Not that I know of -- we toured Carimar but haven't stayed there but I don't remember tv as an option. Turtle's Nest is right down the beach and has very powerful a/c and tv in the living room & bedroom. The 2nd building is under construction but we weren't annoyed by any construction noise (Meads Bay is loud & we did use the a/c). It's very reasonable, too. Magnificent sunsets from our balcony.

Turtlesnestbeachresort.com. The beach is great -- there was quite an undertow in November but we splashed around & had a good time. I think it's calmer the rest of the year (my spouse got knocked silly & lost his hat, sunglasses & wedding ring -- the hat & sunglasses we recovered; the wedding ring resulted in a quick trip to St. Martin's jewelry stores.) There are calmer, shallower beaches but that's why they invented cars -- we spend a lot of time in Rendezvous Bay regardless of where we are staying. The early morning strolls on Meads Bay are fabulous!

how are the beach front one bedroom equipped? which would have the best views?

We stayed in 2W (for west) and it was perfect. Fully-equipped kitchen; large bath & dressing room; comfortable chairs on the balcony; good size bedroom. No complaints at all. We started our vacation there because we like to be close to some of our favorite west end restaurants (Lucy's & Oliver's up the road from Malli; Picante and Trattoria in the other direction -- and after a couple tequila shooters at Picante, you'll be glad you're on the west end). Smokey's at Cove Bay (live music on Saturdays from noon-3) -- it's all good!
