Yes they do in some units. We have always had a beachfront unit when we've stayed at SBV and while we use the AC occassionally, generally you don't need it all of the time. As my husband and I love to hear the ocean, we've found we don't need it at night or maybe not all night, depending on what time you year you'll be there.
