Tours from LA?

I really want to fit Sequoia into my trip to the US next year on April 10th (which I have read can be still snowy). Are there any tours from LA? If not, how do I get there? Please help!!!

You may want to google to see of there are any tours. The only way know to get to Sequoia is to drive. Yes snow may be on the ground but it is still beautiful. As long as it is not storming at the time you are there you can get around the park by car. If snow is still on the ground some of the trails are marked for cross country skiers and snow shoe. I'd still make the trip in April

Thank you, that is really helpful. Do you know if it would be best to stay overnight, or is it possible to do in a day trip?

Hmm technically you can drive there and back but you won't have time to see very much. Also it depends on where in LA you start from. It is a big metro area. If you have time stay overnight. You'll have more time to enjoy the park and appreciate those glorious trees. Here is a link to the parks website. It will list phone numbers, accomodation options and you can download maps of the park. If you can I'd stay inside the park. More time to enjoy the beauty.

I found site on a tour. I can't provide any feedback on it but if you don't want to drive in the mountains. It starts about 90 min outside the park , in the Central Valley region.

Last year, we took Sequoia tours and I highly recommend it. On their website they list the places they visit, and the guide was very informative and a pleasure to be with for the day.
