Are the mosquitoes quite bothersome in June/July?

1. Re: mosquitoes

Only near the meadows really. We do take bug spray, but only use it near the tops of our socks and backs of our necks. In areas that are really damp (I can think of a couple), we put on more spray.

Wuksachi Lodge is generally mosquito free and in the campgrounds, only a few sites are plagued by them. Should mention that the trail to Crystal Cave seems to be prime mosquito territory (warmer than further up the mountain, with a creek, and the creek has some really quiet pools).
