One night--route 180 or 198?

Spending one night, 2 days in King Canyon or Sequoia. Do not like driving twisty, high mountain roads--how to navigate and where to stay--June? Thanks!

If you don't like twisty roads, then the 180 out of Fresno would be better (the 198 has more switchbacks). However, depending on where you are coming from/going to, that might be out of your way.

That's too bad since the road into the actual canyon itself is really spectacular but you obviously wouldn't like it.......the road up 198 into Sequoia is dozens of switchbacks so.........

Enter the parks via 180. You could stay in Grant Grove if you're done with the driving.

I'd suggest Wuksachi though which is close to the Giant Forest itself is where the best sights/hikes and things are located.
