We plan to fly into San Francisco and rent a car. We would then like to travel to Sequoia National Park and then head over to the coast to drive from probably Santa Barbara back to San Francisco. We would also like to see the Hearst Castle. We will then turn in the rental car and stay about four days in San Francisco before we fly home. I'm not sure how many days to allow to make this big circle. We plan to travel around October 15th and I hope we do not have to worry about snow this early, do we? If we figure two days to drive and stay at Sequoia (we are not hikers so we would just like to see the Giant Forest and other items of interest in the area) and three days to return up the coast, does it seem reasonable or do we need to allow more time.
