I knew that my "fishiitis" would get me in the end. That's what I call it now. I think "fishiitis" sounds much better than plantar faschiitis.
So "fishiitis" it is !!
Anyway, back to my story.
17.3 miles down to Phantom Ranch and back in a day.
No blisters, no nothin'. Just aching feet when I get to the top. Where's that Swedish massage therapist when you really need them.
Less than a week later, I am hiking the Phoneline trail in Sabino Canyon in Tucson (with my special "fishiitis" insoles in my boots).
You're not gonna believe this. 6 of my tootsie toenails are now sportting their new colors - it's a cross between black and blue. That's right, 6 of them. I don't have Canyon Toe, I have Phoneline Toe.
For the first time in 57 years I'm going to have to buy nailpolish for my trip to Hawaii in December. I am thinking rainbow colors for the rainbows of Kauai. Whadya think ??
