Prinsotel la dorada

We are considering Playa de Muro for holiday in July and have been looking at Prinsotel la dorada. I note from the location that it is set beside a main road. Does anyone know if this is a busy road and whether it is likely to generate a lot of noise? Was a bit apprehensive about Muro as read previously that mosquitos are a problem, does anyone know if this is the case? The hotels do look very impressive however, so may be prepared to give it a try.

Hi, Im in the exact same position but going june, just about to book but now looking at alcudia pins hotel which is very similar but with thomson and 200 pound cheaper! Going to give it a try, quite worried about how many restaurants there are because me and my daughter are quite fussy eaters!

The best area of Playa de Muro is around the Gaviotas area . Alcudia Pins is way out of town . Think the Prinsotel la Dorada is in the better position . The road can be quite busy but not that bad . Dont think noise is much of a problem , but our hotel was about 100m from it , so stand to be corrected .

Thanks for the info. Do you know which hotels are in the area you mentioned? Would be most grateful. Seem to be going round in circles, alternating between Puerto Alcudia and Muro really. Main thing for us is good pool area and, would you believe - WiFi.

Playa de muro is known for it's lovely beach front hotels which are mostly all inclusive. The Albufera end (alcudia pins) is very remote with no shops or night life, the alcudia end of muro (alcudia park) has a few shops, bars and restaurants and a burger king. You can pin point the hotels using the tripadvisor map of the area.
