Suica, Pasmo, Passnet Cards

Hi,

If i want to travel in Tokyo, which one should I buy and can access all the station? I will need travel with JR east, subway, metro, private railway. Which one is more convenient? Because I'm confusing with the Suica, Pasmo, Passnet Card.

Thank you so much for your help!

It's obvious that someone didn't know where USJ is located.

A round trip fare from Shinagawa to USJ is ~28,000yen. So if you add one way NEX and JR line fares within Tokyo, you'll come ahead with the 7 Day pass.

The best thing for you to do is to buy the 7 day JR Pass and the Suica/NEX package upon arrival. Please note that you need to buy the JR Pass voucher before coming to Japan.

Being a train buff I always try to get a ride on the Hayabusa if I can. It's a quick excursion to Sendai and not too bad to Aomori and can all be done in one day. That really makes the JR Pass quite cost effective.
